The 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT arrives with the Mustang's first-ever factory-supercharged V8. The 4.6L Supercharged V8 produces 390 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The Supercharger on the V8 is an Eaton Blower similar to the one used on the SVT F-150 Lightning. The Supercharger not only greatly increases the Power output, but also the Low end torque. The Supercharged Cobra reverts to an iron block, which is necessary to handle the higher power output. Like the prior engine it has a forged steel crankshaft but the connecting rods and pistons are now also forged. The Flywheel switches from iron to aluminum for a sizeable reduction in both weight and inertia. Ford's SVT claims that change alone took off 0.2 seconds off the 0-60. The combination of the iron block and the aluminum flywheel was used previously in the Cobra R. 14 years after it left production it is still one of the best Mustangs on the road today. We received this Ford Mustang Cobra from a longtime customer of ours who is not able to drive it anymore and has decided to sell it. He was the Original Owner of this Cobra and he sold it to a friend of his who he eventually bought it back from. Our customer has the SVT Cobra plaque which has his name on it as well as the Build number and build date. Our customer also has the Original Ford SVT Certification Paper and Document from Ford SVT that provides the final assembly plant, the date of production, and the production sequence number. This Cobra SVT has only 15k Original Miles and is Great condition. This Cobra has been serviced regularly and the last service they reported was at 14,601 Miles. This Ford Cobra SVT is in beautiful condition mechanically and the trim, paint, and upholstery are all in beautiful condition.
