The Audi S5, also known by Enthusiasts as the B8 was released into the U.S. market in 2008. The Audi S5 is available in only All-Wheel drive and has three different body styles; a Coupe, Cabriolet, and the Sportback. It was replaced in 2013 with the B8.5 which added a new and improved Supercharged V6 engine. In 2018 Audi introduced the B9 Model S5 which included numerous upgrades, including; a completely new and more powerful 3.0 Turbocharged V6 Engine, a turbocharger mounted within the engine V eliminating turbo lag response times. The New turbocharged V6 makes 354 Horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The B9 S5 also is only available paired to the 8-Spd Automatic Transmission, the Manual 6 Speed option has been eliminated. The Quattro AWD system receives power through a locking center differential that splits torque sent to the wheels to 40% to the front and 60% to the rear. We purchased this Audi S5 out of California because of the amount of car and value for the price range. This Audi S5 had an MSRP of $71.5k with over $8.5k in optional equipment including S Sport Package which includes the Torque Vectoring Rear Differential, Bang & Olufsen 3D Surround Sound System, Navigation Package, and 19 Inch 5 Spoke Cavo Design Wheels. This Audi S5 has had great service history with the 10k-50k Mile service performed and this Audi S5 has always been owned in California. This Audi S5 does have Minor Damage reported on the Carfax which we tend to shy away from. We are comfortable with this Audi due to the damage being limited to only the front and the fact it was stated as Minor.
